Contrasts

Gaëlle Christmann and Richard Fournillon join their perspectives to explore street photography as a shared language. In this visual dialogue built around contrast and opposition, each brings their own sensitivity and rhythm. Through careful observation of the urban environment, they capture moments that reveal the poetry of everyday life and the beauty of the ordinary.

In these photographs, architecture imposes its lines, light shapes the volumes, and the silhouettes of passersby punctuate this multifaceted reading of the city—both structured and spontaneous, graphic and human—where one artist’s gaze extends and complements the other’s.
