Fénéstrou
From September 3 to November 3, 2026
Fénéstrou – “Little Window” in the Corrèze dialect.
Fénéstrou is an exhibition born from a family story: that of artist Mathilde Pommier’s grandfather, a farmer from the Corrèze region of France. His face, marked by nearly a century of life, became the starting point for this project. Like many elderly people, he watched the world continue to change from behind a window, as the years passed and solitude gradually set in.
Through photographs taken in Corrèze, Paris, Morocco, Porto, and London, the exhibition presents a series of everyday moments, inviting visitors to reflect on memory, time, and the way we observe the world around us.
